104 Alma School Road

Route 104 was originally created in August 1992 from the Mesa Sunrunner Yellow route. The earliest known exact routing for route 104 is from August 18, 1997, when the route traveled from Fiesta Mall at Alma School Rd & Southern Ave, up Alma School Rd, along 8th St, Date, and Brown Rd, down Center St, looping around Pepper Place, Centennial Way, and 1st St, back up to the Mesa Senior Center at MacDonald and 3rd Place. On July 8, 2002, the southern end of the route was restructured to travel from Frye Rd & Arizona Ave in Chandler, down Frye Rd to Alma School Rd, up Alma School Rd to Fiesta Mall, then continuing the existing route. On December 29, 2008, the northern end of the route was rerouted from Mesa Senior Center to Mesa Riverview, with a deviation to the Sycamore/Main St Transit Center upon the opening of the light rail. On October 26, 2015, the deviation to Sycamore/Main St Transit Center was eliminated. On October 23, 2017, the southern end of the route was extended down Frye Rd to Morelos St & Hamilton St. On October 22, 2018, the deviation to Fiesta Mall was eliminated.
