  • August 18, 1997 - Route 27 traveled from Central Station in the south, along Washington St/Jefferson St and up 27th Ave to Metrocenter Transit Center, up 28th Dr, Greenway Rd, 28th Ave, to 27th Ave & Union Hills Dr in the north
  • July 25, 2005 - The southern end of the route was rerouted away from Central Station and extended down 27th Ave to Durango St
  • January 22, 2007 - The northern end of the route was extended along Union Hills Dr, up 35th Ave, along Yorkshire Dr, north up 23rd Ave, west on Rose Garden Ln, south on 27th Ave, then heading west to end at Runion Dr & 29th Ave. Select trips also traveled from 27th Ave & Rose Garden Ln, up to Deer Valley Rd, then down to 23rd Ave & Rose Garden Ln. This extension was made to cover route 35 being rerouted at the time.
  • July 23, 2012 - The northern end of the route was restructured again with the route splitting at Yorkshire Dr & 27th Ave, with different trips traveling to 23rd Ave & Rose Garden Ln or 27th Ave & Deer Valley Rd. The southern end of the route was also extended to Lower Buckeye Rd & 27th Ave.
  • January 27, 2025 - The southern end of the route was modified to travel from Lower Buckeye Rd & 27th Ave, along Lower Buckeye Rd, up 35th Ave, and along Durango St, before returning to 27th Ave, instead of traveling directly up 27th Ave
