History
The earliest known routing of route 122 is from 1997, when it traveled from 43rd Ave & Bethany Home Rd, along Bethany Home Rd and up 39th Ave, then along Dunlap Ave, into Metrocenter, then back along Dunlap, then up 25th Ave, Peoria Ave, 19th Ave, then finally along Cactus Rd, ending at 51st Ave & Cactus Rd. On July 23, 2007, the western end of the route was extended to 67th Ave & Cactus Rd. On July 26, 2010, service south of Metrocenter was eliminated. The western end of the route was truncated back to 51st Ave on July 23, 2012. On July 22, 2013, the eastern end of the route was truncated to Cactus Rd & 19th Ave. Finally, on April 24, 2017, the western end was extended to ASU West campus and the eastern end was extended to 19th Ave & Dunlap Ave to connect to the light rail.
