27 27th Avenue

In 2000, route 27 was routed from Central Station in the south, to 27th Ave & Union Hills Dr in the north. On July 25, 2005, the southern end of the route was rerouted to no longer serve Central Station and was instead extended down 27th Ave to Durango St. On January 22, 2007, the northern end of route 27 was extended west along Union Hills Dr, north on 35th Ave, east on Yorkshire Dr, north on 23rd Ave, west on Rose Garden Lane, south on 27th Ave, and turning west to end at Runion Dr & 29th Ave. Additionally, select trips were offered from 27th Ave & Rose Garden, up to Deer Valley Rd, then back down 23rd Ave to Rose Garden. This extension was made to cover the rerouting of route 35 at the time. On July 23, 2012, the northern end of route 27 was restructured once again, with the route being split at Yorkshire Dr & 27th Ave, with different trips traveling to 23rd Ave & Rose Garden Ln or 27th Ave & Deer Valley Rd. Also, the southern end of the route was extended to Lower Buckeye Rd & 27th Ave at the same time, resulting in the same route that remains today.
