- July 14, 2003 - Route 41A introduced, marketed as an extension of route 41, but requiring a transfer at Desert Sky Mall Transit Center, providing service between it and Estrella Mountain Community College via Thomas Rd, 83rd Ave, Indian School Rd, and Dysart Rd
- January 24, 2005 - Route 41A fully introduced as a separate route from route 41
- January 25, 2010 - Route 41A eliminated and partially replaced with an extension to route 41
