71 Professor GUS

Route 71 was an interesting route. It seems it was intended as a Glendale Urban Shuttle route with its name, Professor GUS, but was given route number 71. It was appropriately named, though, as its purpose was to provide direct bus service between the various colleges throughout Glendale. The route traveled from Glendale Community College, along Olive Ave, up 51st Ave, to ASU West, then along Thunderbird Rd, and 59th Ave to the old American Graduate School of International Management (now Arizona Christian University).
