History
- July 28, 2008 - Route 511 introduced as the Chandler/Scottsdale Airpark Express, traveling from Arizona Ave & Chicago St in Chandler, along Loop 202, Dobson Rd, Frye Rd, Loop 101, stopping by ASU Research Park, then continuing up to Scottsdale Community College, Shea Blvd & 90th St, then up to Scottsdale Rd, and down into Scottsdale Airpark
- December 29, 2008 - Deviation added to serve the new Loop 101/Apache Blvd Park and Ride to connect to the light rail, southern end modified to travel south of Loop 202 instead of north, down Arizona Ave, Germann Rd, and Hamilton St to the Chandler Park and Ride, and some additional stops were added near Shea Blvd & 90th St and near Scottsdale Airpark
- July 26, 2010 - Southern end truncated to Loop 101/Apache Blvd Park and Ride and the route was renamed to Tempe/Scottsdale Airpark Express
- July 25, 2011 - Northern end rerouted to exit Loop 101 at Raintree Dr and travel along it, Hayden Rd, Redfield Rd, Thunderbird Rd, and Scottsdale Rd to get to Scottsdale Airpark
- July 23, 2012 - Southern terminus moved to Tempe Transportation Center via Loop 202, Rural Rd, University Dr, and College Ave
- January 27, 2014 - Route modified to serve the new Thunderbird Park and Ride (now Scottsdale Park and Ride)
- October 27, 2014 - Route eliminated
