- July 23, 2012 - Created to replace route 540, traveling from the State Capitol to Ahwatukee and South Tempe. Two trips traveled to and from 48th St & Elliot Rd while the other two trips traveled to and from Elliot Rd & Country Club Way
- October 26, 2020 - Route through Downtown Phoenix modified to use 7th Ave between Van Buren St and Washington/Jefferson St due to long-term construction in Downtown Phoenix
- April 26, 2021 - Neighborhood pickup service eliminated, route truncated to Tempe Sports Complex to streamline service
- October 27, 2025 - Route through Downtown Phoenix modified to use Washington/Jefferson St and 1st Ave/Central Ave/2nd St now that long-term construction in Downtown Phoenix is finished
