62 Hardy Drive

Route 62 appears to have been created on March 21, 1999, traveling from Hardy Dr & Warner Rd, over to Grove Pkwy, up Kyrene Rd, along Guadalupe Rd, back up Hardy Dr, then ending up at College Ave & 6th St via 1st St and Ash Ave in Downtown Tempe. On January 24, 2005, the southern end of the route was extended along Warner Rd and up Priest Dr and Ruby Dr to IKEA. On January 25, 2010, route 62's southern end was modified to travel along Guadalupe Rd to Price Rd/Loop 101 & Baseline Rd instead of IKEA to replace part of route 92, and route 62's northern end was extended past Tempe Transportation Center, along University Dr and up McClintock Dr to Tempe Marketplace. On July 25, 2011, the southern end was truncated from Baseline Rd to Guadalupe Rd & Price Rd. On October 26, 2020, southbound trips were rerouted along Ash Ave instead of Farmer Ave for consistency with northbound trips. Finally, on October 25, 2021, route 62 was rerouted from Guadalupe Rd & Price Rd back to IKEA due to the discontinuation of route 65 and service on Guadalupe Rd was replaced by Orbit Saturn.
