  • March 21, 1999 - Route 62 created, traveling from Hardy Dr & Warner Rd, up Hardy Dr, Grove Pkwy, Kyrene Rd, Guadalupe Rd, Hardy Dr, 1st St, Ash Ave, and 5th St, ending at College Ave & 6th St in Downtown Tempe
  • January 24, 2005 - Southern end extended along Warner Rd, Priest Dr, and Ruby Dr to IKEA
  • January 25, 2010 - Southern end rerouted along Guadalupe Rd to Price Rd & Baseline Rd instead of IKEA to replace part of route 92 and the northern end was extended along University Dr and McClintock Dr to Tempe Marketplace
  • July 25, 2011 - Southern end truncated from Baseline Rd to Guadalupe Rd & Price Rd
  • October 26, 2020 - Southbound trips rerouted along Ash Ave instead of Farmer Ave for consistency with northbound trips
  • October 25, 2021 - Southern end rerouted back to Ruby Dr & IKEA due to the discontinuation of route 65 and service on Guadalupe Rd was replaced by Orbit Saturn
