- November 15, 1994 - Route 68 introduced, traveling from Los Arcos Mall at Scottsdale Rd & McDowell Rd, looping around 74th St and Roosevelt St, then going up 68th St, diverting into Loloma Station, then up Goldwater Blvd, looping around to Scottsdale Rd & Camelback Rd at Scottsdale Fashion Square. Southbound trips diverted onto Osborn Rd to serve Paiute Community Center, but was not included on the route map for some reason
- August 13, 2001 - Route 68 was combined with route 66
