Express route 510 traveled from the State Capitol, through Downtown Phoenix, along Interstate 10 and Loop 202, then along 52nd St, McDowell Rd, 64th St, Thomas Rd, Miller Rd, Camelback Rd, and Hayden Rd to Via Paseo Del Sur & McCormick Pkwy.

  • September 7, 1993 - Route 510 introduced, replacing the original route 510 and route 511, traveling from the State Capitol, through Downtown Phoenix along an odd route involving 3rd Ave, Adams St, 1st Ave, Monroe St, 2nd St, and 4th/5th St to get to Interstate 10 and Loop 202, then the route continued on 52nd St, McDowell Rd, 64th St, Thomas Rd, and 68th St, before returning to McDowell Rd to serve Los Arcos Mall, then up Miller Rd, Camelback Rd, Hayden Rd, and Via De La Entrada to Via Paseo Del Sur & McCormick Pkwy
  • August 18, 1997 - By this time, the route had been modified to use Central Ave and 1st Ave through Downtown Phoenix
  • August 13, 2001 - Service to Los Arcos Mall eliminated, streamlining the route on Thomas Rd between 64th St and Miller Rd
  • January 14, 2002 - Some time before this point, the route was rerouted to use Chaparral Rd instead of Camelback Rd
  • July 23, 2007 - Rerouted back onto Camelback Rd instead of Chaparral Rd
  • July 23, 2012 - Route eliminated, replaced by route 514
