Route 92 traveled from Tempe Transportation Center, down College Ave, University Dr, Mill Ave, Broadway Rd, 48th St, and Baseline Rd, then deviating up Priest Dr to Arizona Mills Mall, then returning to Baseline Rd, continuing down Kyrene Rd, Guadalupe Rd, and looping around Price Rd and returning to Guadalupe Rd & McClintock Dr when it was eliminated in 2010.

- March 20, 1999 - Route 92 introduced, traveling from Guadalupe Rd & Price Rd, along Guadalupe Rd, Kyrene Rd, Baseline Rd, diverting to Arizona Mills Mall at Priest Dr and going back to Baseline Rd, then up 48th St, Broadway Rd, Mill Ave and looping around 5th St, College Ave, and University Dr in Downtown Tempe
- January 24, 2005 - Southern turnaround loop modified to go up Price Rd to Baseline Rd, then back down to Guadalupe Rd
- July 24, 2006 - Southern end layover point moved to Guadalupe Rd & McClintock Dr, route unchanged
- January 25, 2010 - Route 92 eliminated, replaced with the new route 48 and modifications to route 62
