January 12, 2004 - I-17 RAPID introduced to replace route 580 and route 591, traveling from Arizona Center in Downtown Phoenix, past the State Capitol, along Interstate 17 to Metrocenter Mall, Deer Valley Park and Ride, then along Bell Rd and 19th Ave to Deer Valley Community Center
January 24, 2011 - Northern end of the route extended to the new Happy Valley Park and Ride. Service to Deer Valley Community Center eliminated
