- July 23, 2012 - Route 514 introduced to replace route 512, traveling from the State Capitol, along Interstate 10, McDowell Rd, and Loop 101 to Scottsdale Community College, then up along Shea Blvd and Via Linda to La Montana Dr & Palisades Blvd in Fountain Hills
- April 23, 2018 - Route streamlined onto Shea Blvd instead of using Via Linda in Scottsdale with the introduction of the new Mustang Trolley and the Mustang Transit Center
- October 25, 2021 - Eastern end of route truncated to Mustang Transit Center, with service to Fountain Hills being replaced by route 515
