Route 70 map from 2003
  • August 15, 1999 - Route 70 created as Luke Link, traveling from the Luke Air Force Base Commissary, down Glendale Ave, to Mainstee Town Center (now Northern Crossing) at 59th Ave & Hayward Ave
  • October 13, 2003 - Route renamed to Glendale/Luke Link, the western end was adjusted to end at Glendale Ave & Litchfield Rd instead of traveling directly into the Air Force base, and the eastern end was extended to 61st Ave & Northern Ave
  • July 23, 2007 - Route 70 was combined with route 24 and renamed to Route 70 - Glendale/24th Street, with the route now traveling from Glendale Ave & Litchfield Rd to South Mountain Community College along Glendale Ave and 24th St
  • January 28, 2008 - Short trips ending at 91st Ave were rerouted to the new Glendale Park and Ride and the southern end of the route was adjusted to no longer go directly into South Mountain Community College and continue down 24th St to Baseline Rd instead
  • July 25, 2011 - Western end of the route slightly adjusted to serve the Lightning Gate of Luke Air Force Base
  • July 23, 2012 - Eastern turnaround loop adjusted to end at South Mountain Ave instead
  • January 27, 2014 - Service to the airport rental car center was eliminated and the route was streamlined onto 24th St
  • April 24, 2017 - Eastern end truncated to the 24th St/Baseline Park and Ride
  • April 23, 2018 - Deviation on 95th and Maryland Avenues in Glendale eliminated
