80 Northern Avenue/Shea Blvd

The earliest known routing of route 80 is from 1997, when it traveled from Mainstee Town Center at Northern Ave & 59th Ave, along Northern Ave and up Central Ave, down Dunlap Ave and 3rd St to Sunnyslope Transit Center. The route remained unchanged until July 23, 2012, when the eastern end was rerouted from Sunnyslope Transit Center and streamlined onto Northern Ave to 16th St instead. On July 22, 2013, the eastern end of the route was extended again, this time along State Route 51 to 32nd St, then along Shea Blvd to 90th St, with select trips serving Mayo Clinic at 136th St to replace part of route 106, which was truncated. On October 22, 2018, service east of 90th St to 136th St was replaced by the new Mustang Trolley.
