41 Indian School Road

The earliest known routing of route 41 is from 2000, when the route traveled from Desert Sky Mall, down Indian School Rd and up 51st Ave for a little Maryvale loop along Campbell Rd to 73rd Ave, up to Camelback Rd, down 67th Ave, then back down Campbell Rd to 51st Ave, and back to Indian School Rd. Route 41 did not divert again until Loloma Station in Scottsdale and then it continued down Indian School Rd until Hayden Rd. On January 14, 2002, the eastern end of route 41 was extended to Granite Reef Rd. On October 13, 2003, the western end of route 41 was extended from Desert Sky Transit Center to Estrella Mountain Community College. On January 24, 2005, the section between Desert Sky and Estrella Mountain Community College was split off to become route 41A, an Avondale-specific extension of route 41. On July 23, 2007, the Campbell/Maryvale diversion was replaced with service by the new Maryvale Circulator. On January 25, 2010, route 41A was eliminated and route 41's western end was extended to Indian School Rd & 107th Ave, with a loop going up 107th Ave to Camelback Rd, then back down to Indian School Rd via 99th Ave. On July 25, 2011, Loloma Station was closed, so route 41 no longer diverted off of Indian School Rd through Scottsdale. On July 23, 2012, the "Camelback loop" at the western end of route 41 was eliminated. Finally, on October 27, 2014, the deviation serving Desert Sky Mall was eliminated, replaced with new service by route 75 and route 83.
